Half-hearted Commitment

What?! It's been more than a week since my last entry?

Just when I thought I'd be a more dedicated blogger. Oh well, better late than never I guess!

Three weeks into the fitness journey and it hasn't been easy. There were days that I thought my body was going to crumble after some of the sessions at the initial phase. As contradictory as it may sound, I do enjoy the workouts! I tried something new; finally attended a group class (Body Combat, by the way) at the gym even though I have been a member for over a year. It's proven that I'm still able to follow the moves more than half the time so that was not as bad as I envisioned the experience to be. Nobody stared or laughed at my occasional clumsiness and uncoordinated movements. Heh.

The bookworm in me's awaken and I have finished reading two books to date! My current read is The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin S. Sharma.

What else have I been up to? Museum hopping! Well, kind of. I have seen the Da Vinci: Shaping The Future exhibition at ArtScience Museum, In Memoriam: Lee Kuan Yew, Singapura: 700 Years as well as Leading Ladies: Women Making a Difference exhibitions at the National Museum. Oh, I have also visited the Asian Civilisations Museum for the Chinese Zodiac Heads: A Gift from Jackie Chan and Ancient Religions exhibitions. Personally, I feel that museums are able to offer intriguing experiences and these are the places that visitors can gain new knowledge.

The sweet tooth is kept under control so far but no, that didn't kill my appetite for food. On the topic of food, I had a plate of satay bee hoon for lunch at Sin Chew Satay Bee Hoon located at Bukit Timah Market and Food Centre. It was delicious! They're pretty generous with their creamy and flavourful satay gravy (that's not too spicy), and I must add that this is one dish yours truly would gladly risk soiling her clothes for. =P~

The thought of food can activate more than just the salivary glands. My stomach is starting to growl. Dinnertime!
